He wants us to turn the lights on in every room we go into. He says "Ights, ights" and points to the light switches. It's not that he needs to turn them on but just that ALL of them need to be on. I told him that we can turn the lights on in the room we are currently in but then when we leave we have to turn them off.
James also wants the inside lights of the car on ALL THE TIME. I'm trying to teach him "on" and "off" rather than "ights ights". I don't mind them on in the daytime, but at night - no way.
This has been a good week so far although James did get his first bloody nose (he ran into cousin Jack on Sunday) then on Tuesday bumped his upper lip. But he's totally fine. And I figure these won't be the first bloody incidents in our house! We leave tomorrow for Voorhees, NJ to visit Greg's family for Easter. It will be a nice visit - hopefully incident-free. :) The rest of the spring is shaping up to be VERY busy - a few road trips to Ohio, Connecticut and New Jersey/Philly and then our 5th anniversary weekend away. But we figure now's the time as we'll be stuck at home for a good long while with a new baby. I can't believe James is almost two and we are having another baby. I'm literally overwhelmed at how time is flying sometime. But it's all good.
