We're on our first week of summer, as James's school ended last week. I looked at our calendar and already this Thursday and Friday are wide open. Gulp. Friday is James's birthday, so I'm going to let him dictate what we do. But Thursday is tricky; the weather is iffy and I have rehearsal that night. So I gotta figure out a morning plan. Luckily I put together a spreadsheet of summer activities - this Thursday might be the first day I pull it out in anticipation of needing at least one out of the house activity.
Other than the end of school, we are gearing up for a summer of busy times plus low key times. Looks like we'll be on vacation around Labor Day now, which would be really nice. Hope to book something soon. Otherwise, the summer will be full of birthday parties, soccer classes, anniversaries, etc. And hopefully, sleeping through the night!
