Happy Thanksgiving

So many things to be thankful for this year: three healthy boys, a warm house, abundance of food, great friends. Plus so much more. I've fallen off the wagon a bit in the past few months with keeping up with friends, and realize that that is going to be harder to rectify with three little ones running around. But my goal is to do all I can (within reason) to continue to do all I can to be a good friend plus, of course, a great wife and mom. I need to let go of the housework more. I need to stop worrying about losing the baby weight. I need to embrace the fact that I'm in my mid-30s and time is going quickly. Good goals to attempt to reach and continue to work on at all times. I'm thankful I can have the opportunites to work on these things and to work on myself and try to do the best I can.

In other notes of thanks, I am so grateful that Dylan is here and thriving - at his two week check up he weighed in at 9 pounds, 10.5 ounces. That's a gain of over 1 and 3/4 pounds! Otherwise, we are watching his eye as he is our third child to have a clogged tear duct. And that's it for areas of concern. It is SO nice to not have to worry about jaundice. I'm so grateful!

And we are going to be getting Nate some speech therapy. He was tested last week and while he scored at his age or greater in all areas but one, it is the one area that he scored lower in that we're concerned about. His articulation is only at 25% so we will begin therapy soon for him, with some measurable goals from now until his birthday. I am grateful we have the option to have some help and am hoping this means he'll be talking soon.

I must run and  hope to check in again soon ... but that might be hard with Greg returning to work this week!!
