October

As always October is proving to be an incredibly busy month! After the first weekend in NYC, we enjoyed a rare date night out at the local Oktoberfest (silliest Oktoberfest EVER in my opinion). The following weekend I had my first rock band gig with The Slow Burn (more on that hopefully another time) so Greg was Super Dad (two parties and a soccer game) and we had our nephew over for a fun sleepover. The following weekend we helped to celebrate a friend's birthday and had another game, etc. Plus every Saturday I teach a music class. Plus the normal household chores, etc. We have also celebrated the fall with a trip to get our pumpkins at Great Country Farm, enjoyed a Fall Festival at Nate's school, did the Halloween party at Nate's school, enjoyed Trunk or Treat with my moms group, and then this coming weekend we will finally carve our Jack O'Lanterns and celebrate Halloween with Trick or Treating. All this plus the usual school, sports, volunteering, socializing, singing, organizing, and prepping for Dylan's first birthday, and Mama is exhausted. Oh, I forgot to mention I'm going to cheer on a friend at the marathon on Sunday - which will be awesome!!!! November looks busy but hopefully not as crazy. :)
