Weekend

We've enjoyed a very HOT weekend in Virginia. VERY HOT. Due to that, most of our activities have been indoors. On Saturday, I helped co-host a baby shower for a dear friend. Mom and I carpooled and were gone from home for about 5 hours. Here's a photo of the gift and favor table (I made the favors):

The boys did manly things such as hit Home Depot and Lowe's for supplies to change our upstairs hall coat closet into the pantry I don't have. I'm very excited about the additional space. Never fear, we have two other coat closets downstairs (some previous owner went nuts with our downstairs) so visitors won't have to sit around in their coats! Once it's done I'll post some more photos.

Otherwise, we've had a quiet weekend. Saturday night Greg got a variety of tapas for our dinner (read: frozen appetizers from Giant), so that was fun. Yes, that is fun these days. Sunday we've hung out and worked on the closet(s). I also re-did the downstairs closets outside the guest bath. We have random hooks, shelves, and unfinished spaces all over this house. Slowly, slowly, we will get it all completed.
