This might be my last post...

...before Christmas, that is. :) Gotcha!

Seriously. I've been here, just really tired this week. Nate's night sleeping just isn't very good. He got better and now he's erratic again. Sigh. I'm hoping now that the minivan is fixed ($5700 worth of damage!! Thank God for insurance!) and we aren't in the car at weird times, he will get back on his nap schedule. Both boys are sleeping right now and as soon as I sign off, I will be joining them for a rest. To summarize our week....

Monday James had school. Nate and I went early to get him and I sang carols with the class. It was fun. :) During the morning, I made cookies for a cookie exchange that I have to unfortunately miss.

On Tuesday my mom came over to watch the boys as I had a doctor's appt. It was a nice visit for everyone. When she arrived James said "Mommy go. Mommy go doctor now." Guess I wasn't needed. All is well, just a basic check up.

Yesterday, Weds, we missed our usual playgroup and went to a MOMS Club holiday party. It was fun and nice to see some moms and kids we don't always get to see. James ate SO much food there (not kidding, 4 cheese sticks plus fruit and cookies) that he didn't eat lunch. I was craving a Coke so hit McDonald's on the way home. :)

Today James had school again and his party. So Nate and I dropped him off and went to mail Christmas packages, then went to Laura's for playgroup and monkey bread (yum yum yum) and then back to school. The kids sang carols and did a craft and had a snack. It was very cute and sweet. We all got a bag of presents from the kids: several handmade ornaments (one a photo of James dressed up as an angel, one a handprint, and one a cinnamon ornament, in the shape of a gingerbread man), a paper gingerbread man and a gift from the teacher (a book). It was really nice. We've been very pleased with our preschool, and I look forward to it starting again in two weeks!
