Busy Week

We had a good, busy week, although it was also a painful one for James, who had two more molars pop through. We all hope these teeth are done SOON. Middle of the night wake ups are not fun for anyone. Poor kid. Poor parents.

We hit CostCo on Monday, Tuesday had a playdate, Wednesday went to my mom's work and then went to playgroup, yesterday hit not one, but TWO playgrounds. And today we are waiting for the landscapers and then will have playgroup here. James is napping so I can quickly dash this off until my dad gets here to keep me company.

A highlight of this week is that I successfully was callbacked and then made a women's a cappella group in the area, Kismet. I'm excited to start singing again!

Another highlight (lowlight?) was that James learned to climb up on the coffee table to look out the front window. Every morning we stand there and wave goodbye to Greg. And every day we have to rush to look out the window to look at and wave to trucks that drive by (garbage trucks, Fed Ex and UPS trucks, the SUV next door...you name it, he's obsessed). I swear the kid's hearing is like Superman's.

This weekend includes my first 5k in over two years (with a friend) as well as my nephew's birthday party. Should be a good one!
