And still waiting. Last night I thought it was happening - I had low back pains and irregular contractions/tightening. But alas, I slept and they went away. I realize that this is all good stuff - practice and all. And maybe I'm copying my mom when she was overdue with me....she literally walked around getting dilated for a week and then just went in and poof! I came out really soon after (like less than 2 hours). Speaking of, I expect her daily call momentarily. :) Anyway, no baby today, so I'm enjoying time with my current baby. :) James and I like to watch "Curious George" at 8 and sometimes "Clifford" right after.
So not too much to report. I do have an appt. today for a check up and will have my membranes stripped (ew, TMI, sorry) to see if that works. If I go into labor and have the baby tomorrow, then my friend Kelly and I will have boys born on the same day, so that would be fun. :)
This morning I think I'm taking James to the overpriced but supposedly fun indoor play area, At Play Cafe. It'll be worth it in this heat and humidity. Speaking of, we're expecting strong storms the next few days - the doctor did say that major barometric changes can bring on labor. The full moon didn't do it so maybe a storm will.
Okay, back to cuddling with James. :)
