March is here! Bring on Spring!

The snow is melting and the sun is shining. I don't forsee the cold days to be gone forever, but, today is a good omen of things to potentially come. Yay! It's been a long winter. But, a fun one and something very historic. :) We are at the very tail end of the kitchen adventure: basically, it is done! Right now I'm waiting on our 3rd invoice to be tweaked a bit as I found some discrepencies in it (this is what happens when I'm allowed to handle projects like I'm working - it's awfully exciting!). And there is a pretty long punch list for our project manager to look over. BUT...I am SO happy with the changes. Our house seriously looks like a different house - the kitchen alone is a 180 degree change. But the paint also makes it so much more homey. So it was worth the massive amounts of money. I'll try to post photos.

I'm running on empty right now as Nate had a tough night - not sure what was happening but he was up almost 3/4 of the night. So he's on his second nap  of the day. I had no nap but two cups of coffee and just now, a very hot shower. Hoping this all tides me through rehearsal tonight. We have a big gig on Sunday so we've been rehearsing like mad. So I think we're all ready for it to be over!

So this was just a bitty update, as I'm enjoying some quiet with James and Handy Manny. Hopefully I'll have more exciting stuff to report down the road. But suffice it to say, I'm thrilled that it's getting nicer out. Running, walks to Starbucks, playgrounds, kite flying, parks, etc. are all in the future. Yay! And, in other good news, both boys got into the classes that I requested for preschool. Woo hoo!! Life is good.

Off to enjoy having my house back again, and enjoying the view into our brand new kitchen!!!
